Social media is one of the main places I go to for inspiration, particularly Pinterest and Instagram.
Pinterest is a site which allows you to essentially create an online scrapbook by saving images onto boards. On my pinterest account I have an array of boards full of images I’ve saved. I follow a variety of accounts on Instagram including people I know, influencers, and some more niche pages such as @storefrontcollective. which was one of the key sources of inspiration for my project.
For this project I purchased a copy of the Cornwall edition of Weekend Journals and when studying the brand’s website it inspired me to create a site for the brand for my project as I felt as a reader the website wasn’t very interactive and didn’t represent the brand as well as it could.
