I have found this project to be challenging. I found it hard to balance maintaining the publication’s style while also applying what I had learnt about new media. 

When creating my project for my editorial writing module I felt the writing came quite naturally to me, in comparison, even though these new media pieces are shorter, it took me a lot longer to write as I agonised over each and every word I wrote and I felt quite constricted by having to keep my writing short to engage with an online audience.

I am proud of my project but I do think that it felt like more of a chore to write than my editorial project, which I really enjoyed writing, and so this module has highlighted to me that I much prefer writing for print than for online.
